The firm’s commitment to sustainability is being carried over into its new offices. “Right now, in Boulder, we’re moving into new offices that we’ve designed, and we are anticipating Silver LEED certification,” Trementozzi says.

Despite the challenges brought by growth, Bershof says the firm welcomes them. He says that without those challenges, the firm could become complacent, something that’s a killer in an industry that thrives on seizing new trends and developing new ideas. “I believe growth brings opportunity, and if you don’t grow, there’s a good likelihood you’ll become stagnant and mired in the same things you’ve always done,” he says.
